In our family, doing things as a family unit is an important thing to us. We alwys keep Tabs on eachother and it's our responsability to check up on eachother from time to time. My family has been a K-state family and I can't complain about that. My mom as been in several places while she was groing up. She has lived in England, Texas, Alaska, Trinidad and Tobago and of course Kansas. My dad grew up on a farm in Scott City Kansas with a relativley large family. My father met my mother while he was working for her dad. After that you can fill in the blank. My sister Becky who now live in St. Louis Graduated from Buhler and K-state. She got a degree in Agronomy and she now works with Monsanto to make corn and other crops more fruitful and resistant to diseases by altering the genetci code of those plants. My sister Shannon graduated from Buhler and from TCU. She majored in theatre and the thespian arts. She now lives in Hutchinson and works at the Yarn on Main street and Pic Quick. I didn't get to see her much while growing up. She missed about 6 years of my life but she decided she'd move back here with us and then she got her own place. My brother also graduated from Buhler and K-state. He majored in Agronomy as well. When he went to college he went into the ROTC program there at the school. He graduated a Second Lt. in the Armored Cavalry.(Tanks) We couldn't be anymore proud of him. He traveled through out the country for military training and because of his job with ADM. When he got his orders this summer he was a First Lt. with his Air Assualt wings and a few ribbons from his accomplishments. After Thanksgiving he left to go to Afghanistan and introduce some more modern ways of farming to the farmers there. Like planting corn in rows, they just cast their seed on the ground and hope for the best. That means they aren't getting enough food because the cord is so little and there isn't enough of it. I'm just here as the baby of the family with big shoes to fill.
